So, with globalization not only occurring/occurred, but extremely necessary....how can we make our most recognized, yet clearly lacking, global institution achieve its purpose? How can we make the United Nations less...fail? Or, to put it more optimistically, how can we improve what good we already have?
Or would you suggest starting anew? Keep in mind, though, scraping an old institution in favor of a new one is not only more costly politically, but creates a lot of disorganization and waste in the in-between stage.
Any ideas?

To be honest, I don't see the UN standing out lately. Don't make another, but I hope to see the UN work on more things to let it stand out, so they won't look like failures hard to explain o__o but in a modern kids context well.. that's how i'd put it

Not to be pressured by powerful countries and turn a blind eye to their lapses in human rights and breakings of the Geneva articles. I’m talking about Gaza here
To have a lot more stricter rules on human rights and be able to do something about those countries who do break it. Even if it means getting all the world powers to gang up on one country that’s not looking after their people or whatever. I can’t exactly see how this could work, but something like ostracising, I suppose. It worked (sort of) for Cuba, and I’m sure it can work on other countries.
In general, have more guts and become all BADASS
